Business Sector Bucks the trend as Confidence and Satisfaction Climbs

Despite the much reported growing dissatisfaction of Australian Employees, the business sector has produced some promising results in 2011. The overall business engagement rating increased by 4% in the first quarter of this year. Further to this, employee satisfaction in the workplace improved by 3%.

The HR Coach Research Institute is encouraged by the findings. The business sector can take a lot from these results as the market sentiment has pointed to the contrary. In a disrupted start to the year and with the looming skills shortage, positive news in regards to employees is very welcome.

The HR Coach Research Institute is also proud to announce the first HR Quarterly Index for New Zealand. Given the recent events in Christchurch, and the resulting reconstruction effort, the business sector is facing mounting challenges. The HR Coach Research Institute is pleased to be able to assist, in a small and unique way, through the longitudinal research in an effort to inform the business sector of emerging trends.
